Public Works Superintendent The Village of Waynesville is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Public Works Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operation of the water system, roads, and storm water and supervises the work crews. Assistant Finance Director The Village of West Jefferson is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Finance Director. City Manager Nelsonville Ohio The City of Nelsonville, Ohio (population 5,000) is located in Athens County, Ohio. Wastewater Operator : The Village of Ada is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Wastewater Treatment Operator. Under direction, the successful candidate will operate and monitor the Wastewater Treatment Plant and related facilities, perform and record tests to analyze wastewater content and perform routine maintenance on equipment, building, and grounds. Qualified candidates must possess a valid Ohio EPA Class I or Class II Wastewater license or have the ability to obtain an operator-in-training status issued by Ohio EPA within 18 months of hire. Storm Water Program Technician The City of Perrysburg is now taking applications for the position of Storm Water Program Technician SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Performs technical and administrative tasks to support and coordinate compliance with the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) NPDES Phase II Program which governs storm water permits, discharges, and related environmental regulatory requirements. Duties include inspections, plan reviews, permitting, field mapping, water quality sampling, regulatory enforcement, public education community outreach, report preparation and watershed management. QUALIFICATIONS: Two years’ experience working with storm water facilities construction and inspection and/or a bachelor’s degree with major course work in environmental science or a closely related field. LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under the City’s vehicle insurance provider. Possession of, or the ability to obtain within one year of hire date, Certified Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) Certification, or CESSWI-IT, or equivalent. Residency within Wood or a contiguous county required within 1 year of appointment. Pay range is $24.74 to $31.06 per hour, includes an attractive benefit package. This is a full time position.
